Brad graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. After graduating, he worked for a year in Louisville and then spent the next thirteen years in Chicago, where he worked in one of the most competitive and high-end markets in the country. Having been back in Louisville now for over a decade, Brad has gained an appreciation for the broad plant palette that the climate allows. Brad is highly experienced in landscape design, hardscape construction, drainage mitigation, project sales and estimation, and project/construction management.

While honing his skills in Chicago’s highly competitive market, Brad was allowed opportunities to work with master craftsmen to learn the best construction methods and the details to maximize the durability of hardscape features. He uses plant textures to create effective landscapes, even in the winter months, as he believes landscape should be interesting in all seasons.

Brad is a true outdoorsman. He loves golf, tennis, camping, hunting, and mountain biking. In the summer, you can often catch him with his wife (a Louisville Catholic school principal) and their three children skiing and tubing on Lake Cumberland. He also enjoys entertaining friends and family, reading on the patio, and cheering his beloved Wildcats, his daughter’s Knights, and his son’s Cardinals. One would never know that Kentucky is Brad’s “adopted” home with his fondness of horse racing and bourbon. However, Brad’s most cherished time is spent watching his kids perform and compete.
